I'm happy to hear that, thank you! Are you specifically talking about moving files/folders? If that's the case, you can use Action -> File or Action -> Directory. You should be able to move files/folders from there without having to drag and drop. Is this what you wanted? If not, can you give me another use case so I can better understand your need?

It's not really seperate scripts (like AutoHotkey). It's a set of instructions stored as a serialized data file. You'll find it in appdata/MacroWin. If you're using the steam version, your data should automatically be backed up. Let me know if you have any other questions!

Technically you can. You have two options: You can use web automation (if you're dealing with web forms) to fill out forms with data. Or you can use keyboard/mouse recording/playback Both options will require global variables, which is a very powerful component of MacroWin. You will have to read the data from a formatted text file, which can then be used to populate forms. This is more advanced work, but I'm happy to explain and help over Discord or the messaging app of your choice.

Hi Galois MacroWin can perform keyboard and mouse recording and play the recorded actions back. It does however not generate any code. You can import AutoHotkey (among other languages) code, which does not need AutoHotkey to be installed. If you would like to try it out (without buying), you can download it here.

Hi, The reason behind this approach is due to resource efficiency. Every time a trigger is fired, a new thread is created. If a new thread is created every few milliseconds, your computer's CPU usage will start to climb noticably. I would recommend using a loop and wait actions instead as this should take very little resources.

Hi! That's already possible. Save the ${MousePosition} variable in a temporary variable (something like CurrentMousePosition). Once all of your actions ran and you're ready to bring the mouse back to the original position, just have your mouse move to the CurrentMousePosition variable in the Mouse Action.

Hi Dave, The Date/Time trigger was added to MacroWin and you should now have access to it. I'm still busy looking for a decent approach to Pushbullet triggers.

These are good points. 1) I will build in a date/time trigger which can be fired weekly/momthly/yearly if you wish. 2) It is already possible to use the contents of a notification in your conditions/actions. Ensure you have selected all of the auto variables in the notification section (under tools). Also install the MacroWin notification helper (also under tools). You should be able to use the respective global variables in the other conditions/actions now. Let me know if anything about this process is still unclear. 3) I'll look into triggers for Pushbullet and come back to you once I have more information on it.

Hi. MacroWin uses the official AutoHotkey library to execute AutoHotkey code or files. This means that AutoHotkey does not need to be installed on your computer for the scripts to run. If you feel more comfortable with the files on your disk drive, you can reference the file paths in MacroWin. Otherwise, you can let MacroWin handle the code without using external files.
